This philosophical, psychological research project explores how individuals navigate the systems they live in. The goal is to develop a set of artpieces, handing people tools to take control over their lives and start living in a way that is authentic, reflects their values and makes them able to support the change they want to see in their environment.
Thinking about things can be confrontational
But when those who hold a lot of power do their best to keep you away from understanding things and thinking critically, what they basically show you, is how much power you could hold when you would.
How to operate a system?
- Unethical systems operate best when they are unobserved. They will go through great effort to remain invisible.
- The best place to hide is in plain sight.
- if you convince an oppressed actor it's in their best interest to continue to participate in the system, they will protect your system for you.
- if you convince an oppressed actor the option of changing or removing a system doesn't exist, they will stop looking for the weak links or the way out.

The act of witnessing, watching and observing an unethical system is a first act towards transforming a system
What do you want out of life?
What we call our personality and identity is broadly build up out of our preferred strategies to calm our nerve system and generate neurotransmitters. What we call our mood is mainly the lens created by our brain chemistry and the way different hormones are balanced. This is what determines how we perceive situations and what actions are triggered.
In order to think and function, we are dependent on the different things that trigger the production of dopamine, serotonine, oxytocin and their lesser known siblings.
The amount of stress and information overload we have to deal with on a daily base tends to make us have strange, dependency like relationships with the activities, substances and behaviours that trigger neurotransmitters. Not to mention the long list of coping mechanisms that cause us stress and pleasure simultaneously.
Its a complex mix of a lot of things.

But when we radiate, we are able to connect. To each other. To the world. To things, bigger than ourselves.
It's incredibly important we bust the myth of individualism, as this truly is one of the biggest lies we have been told.

Humans are a constellation. The universe witnessing itself. We have to take care of our world, because it offers us so much more than we are able to give back.
So what do we need to do if we want to safe the world?
